Before the Piano: A Journey Through the History of Keyboard Instruments

“Before the Piano” is a lecture and concert exploring the history of keyboard instruments. Ivan Velikanov will discuss the evolution of these instruments, from early organs to the modern piano, while performing on the medieval organetto and baroque harpsichord. The program also features Alexander Stark (clavicimbalum), Danil Rjabčikov (organistrum), and accordionist Petra Stanojević.
